I don't own ANY mac make up. Is that that weird??
It's not really 'cos of the price; I happily purchase Urban Decay stuff every so often, and my dressing table looks more and more like a mini Benefit counter every month. But I live in a pretty small town, and neither of our two department stores - Debenhams nad House of Fraser don't sell mac. Various stores in Newcastle/Metro Centre do, but I don't seem to go up there all that often, and even less so do I go alone. (I prefer to makeup shop on my own so I can take as long as I need!). Plus I dunno where to start, I mean there's SO much stuff and it can be really intimidating when you're not 100% sure what your looking for. I kinda sauntered round the mac counter in Fenwicks the other week, and whenever any of the staff asked if I needed any help, I smiled and said "no, I'm just looking thank you," and walked away empty handed.
So I've been looking online and picked out a few things. I plan to go to mac and have a look at these things, see what colour(s) would be best etc, and then present a list to my boyfriend for potential Christmas presents... though there's 100s of other stuff I want too. I definitely want to look at the Mineralize Skin Finish Naturals, from what I've seen on YouTube they're pretty amazing, no? Maybe a blush, and one or two brushes. If I can justify the price tag. Paying a lot for the actual makeup is one thing, but I'm not too sure about brushes. It just seems crazy to me to pay over £20 for one single brush!
